East Central High School students have the opportunity to build career-ready skills and earn industry certifications through the Choose Aerospace program.
Through in-person classes and online learning tools, the Choose Aerospace Aviation Maintenance Curriculum covers the general knowledge and skill required for Federal Aviation Administration mechanic certification.
Powered by Clemson University Center for Workforce Development's EducateWorkforce, students have access to online learning tools including industry-tested course material that prepares them for a technical career in aviation. Some of the learning materials include:
- Virtual Reality Simulations
- Video Lectures
- Interactive Assessments
- Textbooks
