East Central High School's goal is to make sure its students are college- and career-ready by the time they graduate. To do this, the school sets high expectations for academic, personal, social, and emotional growth, as well as offering access to various advanced placement courses.

Students at East Central receive personalized academic support plans while learning in a fun, family-friendly focused environment. They will thrive in a diverse, affirming, and supportive learning community and they will graduate well-prepared for success in college and careers.

Preparing students for success starts early with East Central's Freshman Academy, which is designed to provide incoming ninth-grade students a successful transition to high school. Once completed with the academy, students will be equipped with an academic foundation and social intelligence to successfully earn their high school diploma.

Students also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, and even make money, through a partnership with Spirit AeroSystems, which allows seniors to participate in paid internships and gain skills they need to move into the aerospace industry.
