East Central students participate in Hour of Literacy
East Central High School students are now taking part in an Hour of Literacy every day in their English classes. Students put their phones in a lockbox when they walk into class, where it remains until the class is over. This allows them to fully engage with their teacher, other students, and their classwork.
The response has been great from students and families, and the East Central team is looking forward to a great year of learning, literacy, and loving school!
