Bond Funding for East Central

East Central High School

Thanks to the support of Tulsa voters, the 2015 Bond is funding the construction of the East Central Arena*, and the 2021 bond package will support some exciting additions to the space! In partnership with the YMCA Tulsa and funded by the 2021 Bond for Tulsa Public Schools, students and community members will benefit from an expanded fitness center in the new arena. While students will use the fitness center during the day, it will be open to the public during evening and weekend hours.

At East Central High School, the 2021 Bond package also includes:

  • Redesigning the cafeteria into a flexible, comfortable, multi-use space for students, teachers, and support professionals;
  • Stadium waterproofing, time clock replacements, and athletic equipment and uniforms for students;
  • Upgrades to the auditorium lighting and sound system, new stage curtains, and repainting;
